Can Merge Docs Pro copy comments into the merged document?
Yes. Tick Copy comments from source documents (BETA) in the Google Docs add-on. Comment threads from Google Docs and Word, ODT or RTF files are copied with their replies and resolved state. Suggested edits are not copied.
How do I merge multiple Google Docs into one?
Install Merge Docs Pro, open a Google Doc or Sheet, choose Extensions > Merge Docs Pro, select the documents in the order you want and run the merge. The result is a new Google Doc.
Can I merge Word documents with Google Docs?
Yes. Word (.doc and .docx), Markdown, HTML, TXT, RTF and ODT files in your Drive can be merged together with Google Docs into one Doc.
Are my documents sent to your servers?
No. Documents are read and merged inside your Google account by the add-on. Their content is not uploaded to Merge Docs Pro servers.
Do I need to sign in to a separate website?
No. Everything runs from the Extensions menu in Google Docs or Google Sheets with your Google account.
