To copy math equations from ChatGPT or Gemini to Word, ask the AI for the LaTeX code, then in Word press Alt + = (Control + = on Mac), set the input to LaTeX on the Equation tab, paste the code and choose Convert > Professional. For a whole answer full of formulas, export it as a .docx with an extension or Pandoc.
To add a JPG image in LaTeX, load the graphicx package with \usepackage{graphicx} and call \includegraphics[width=0.8\textwidth]{photo.jpg} in the body. Wrap it in a figure environment to add a caption and label. Compile with pdfLaTeX, XeLaTeX or LuaLaTeX; plain latex (DVI output) cannot read JPG files.
To refer to a table in LaTeX, put \label{tab:results} right after \caption{...} inside the table environment, then write Table~\ref{tab:results} in your text. Characters like _, % and # need no escaping inside \url. For long URLs that overflow the margin, add \usepackage{xurl} to allow breaks anywhere.
To change the font of a whole LaTeX document, load a font package in the preamble, for example \usepackage{newtxtext,newtxmath} for a Times-style font with pdfLaTeX. With XeLaTeX or LuaLaTeX, load fontspec and pick any installed font with \setmainfont. Change the base size with a class option such as 12pt, or locally with commands like \large.
