Tag: page break

To delete a page in Google Docs, click at the very start of the text after the blank page and press Backspace until the page disappears. If it won't go, turn on View > Show non-printing characters, then delete the page break or section break, or reduce the custom spacing that pushes text onto a new page.

To delete a blank page in Word, press Ctrl+Shift+8 (Cmd+8 on Mac) to show paragraph marks, then select the empty paragraph marks, page break or section break on that page and press Delete. If the blank page follows a table at the end of the document, set the last paragraph mark to 1 pt.
