How to Unlock Selection in Word (6 Fixes)
To unlock selection in Word, go to Review > Restrict Editing and select Stop Protection, entering the password if asked. If the document is Marked as Final, select Edit Anyway. Also switch from Viewing to Editing mode, clear the file's Read-only setting, and check that Office is activated.
